Our expedition starts from the village of Peristeri.
Crossing the imposing and beautiful Lakmos, we will reach the alpine dragon lake of Verliga at an altitude of 2050m.
A location that will forever be engraved in our minds and souls.
Then a wonderful surprise awaits us.
Passing through Baros at 1905m.
The passage of the shepherds that connects Epirus with Thessaly.
The most mountainous passage in Greece with a breathtaking view.
Our brunch will be held at the chapel of Prophet Elias at 1850m with a view of the eagle's nest of Tzoumerka, the village of Matsouki.
Crossing the passage, we will reach the picturesque Anthousa and explore the heart of Kedros, aiming to reach the summit and the wonderful forest of Rona. Leaving Rona behind, we will reach the ski center of Anilio, with its small heart-shaped lake, and from there to the traditional Metsovo. Admiring the beauty and quaintness of the village jewel, we will do our shopping at the local market. On our way back, we will visit Lake Ziros and the ancient Roman Nikopolis.
